Hoseasons reports record-breaking Q1 sales figures
Hoseasons, one of the UK’s leading self-catering holiday accommodation providers, has reported a record-breaking first quarter of 2016.
The company, which is part of Wyndham Vacation Rentals UK, saw overall bookings increase by 8 per cent compared to the same period in 2015, with lodge and log cabin bookings up 14.5 per cent and boating bookings up 22 per cent.
Three and four-night short break bookings were up by 11 per cent year-on-year, with short breaks now accounting for almost 70 per cent of holidays sold by the company, which also claimed to enjoy seven of its best 10 booking days ever during the first three months of the year.
Managing director, Simon Altham, said the figures followed an especially strong year in 2015, and showed the continuing appeal of the UK luxury short break market.
“Continued investment in the sector means standards of accommodation and facilities have never been so good, something that is clearly going down well with customers looking to make the most of what’s on their doorstep in 2016 without having to compromise on quality,” he said.
“Private hot tubs remain the number one searched for feature on our website, with indoor pools coming in second.”
