Industry gears up for RDO10 conference
European timeshare body the Resort Development Organisation (RDO) has given an update as delegates prepare to attend its upcoming conference RDO10 The Next Chapter.
The event, which runs from 11-12 September, will again take place at the Don Carlos Leisure Resort & Spa in Marbella, and features a strong line-up of inspirational keynote and guest speakers, as well as giving delegates the chance to enjoy networking opportunities and social time.
The theme ‘The Next Chapter’ reflects the fundamental shifts taking place across the world that have been witnessed in the last couple of decades, and are set to become ever more significant. The impacts of these technologically-driven changes are sure to affect the timeshare industry, as they affect all other areas of our lives.
This year’s keynote speakers, designed to help inspire and educate delegates, include Leo Johnson who will present ‘The new dynamics of disruption’, and Daniel Hulme, who will address ‘AI and the future of business’. Both these individuals have come from very different backgrounds and are able to draw on a host of unique educational, career and life experiences.
In addition to the keynotes, the event will feature a host of guest speakers and panellists, who will present and discuss a variety of engaging and useful topics including:
- Yield Management – Slicing the pie
- All things legal
- The New Influence – how to build an influential brand online in the age of digital disruption
- Online Reviews: An untapped channel for the timeshare industry
- Claims & Enforcement: Getting on the front foot
- EUROC: Giving timeshare owners a real voice
For the final session, a panel of industry experts will take an honest look at where timeshare is as an industry and consider if it has the capability to move forward.
Are our products and services future proof, what challenges and opportunities lie ahead, and what needs to be done to turn the page and move onto the next chapter?
Delegates will be given the opportunity before the session starts to confer with colleagues over a coffee on the questions to be addressed to the panel and should be prepared to take part in what should be a fascinating interactive debate.
Overall, the conference will feature engaging presentations, lively debate and a great opportunity to meet with industry colleagues for business and networking opportunities, as well as the chance to relax at various social events.
