Hilton Grand Vacations earns accolade in Hawaii
Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) has been ranked 26th on Hawaii Business Magazine’s ‘Top 250’ list, which highlights the state’s largest companies based on gross sales, a key indicator of market dominance and influence.
In addition, the company was the highest-ranking timeshare business on this year’s list.
This is HGV’s first time on the list since becoming an independent, public company in January 2017.
Derek Kanoa, senior vice president, sales Hawaii Hilton Grand Vacations, said: “Hawaii is a highly sought-after destination and continues to be one of the most desirable markets for both US-based and international owners and guests.
“The region houses one of the largest portfolio of resorts for Hilton Grand Vacations. We opened our ninth property in Hawaii, Ocean Tower by Hilton Grand Vacations Club, in early 2018.
“With two new properties in Waikiki and Maui currently under development, we look forward to continuing to expand our footprint in Hawaii.”
Businesses are selected for the list through public sources, such as filings with the federal Securities and Exchange Commission, reports from the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs and current investor relations reports.
