Wyndham named one of Canada’s Best Employers
Wyndham Destinations, the world’s largest vacation ownership and exchange company and parent company of RCI, has been named on Forbes magazine’s list of Canada’s Best Employers.
The recognition follows the company’s inclusion on Forbes 2019 list of Best Employers for Diversity.
The ranking, developed by Forbes’ partner Statista, is based on an independent survey from a vast sample of more than 8,000 Canadian employees who work for companies that employ at least 500 people in their Canadian operations.
The list ranks 300 employers across all industries in Canada. The survey assessed various data points, including working conditions, salary and company image, and was centred on two main criteria: direct and indirect employer recommendations.
Kimberly Marshall, Wyndham Destinations chief human resources officer, said: “As the world’s largest vacation ownership and exchange company, Wyndham Destinations serves four million members and owner families every year by providing great vacations to customers around the world.
“We recognise that diversity of thought, culture and expertise positively fuels the guest experiences we deliver and strengthens the collaborative operation of our workforce.
“We cultivate an inclusive and diverse environment enabling our global team of more than 25,000 associates to realize their full potential.”
Wyndham Destinations has a large presence in Canada, with 17 vacation properties across the country, including WorldMark Vancouver – The Canadian and WorldMark Whistler – Sundance in British Columbia. The company also has resorts in Alberta, Ontario, and Québec.
Wyndham Destinations was created in 2018 after spinning off Wyndham Hotels and Resorts as an independent company.
