RDO names Lee Dowling as new Board chairman
European timeshare body the Resort Development Organisation (RDO) has announced that Lee Dowling has been appointed chairman of the Board.
Dowling, senior vice president and managing director Europe and Middle East at Marriott Vacation Club International, succeeds Susan Crook, who stepped down at the end of her four-year tenure at the RDO conference in September.
Dowling’s extensive knowledge of the European industry and his tenure on the Board since early 2016 is set to serve the organisation well and will be invaluable in driving forward RDO’s lobbying and enforcement campaigns and in delivering the best possible service to members.
“It is a privilege to have been appointed by the Board as chairman and I look forward to taking on my new responsibilities at the Board meeting in November,” said Dowling.
“On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Susan for her commitment, expertise and support over the past four years.”
